Submarine stranded in the Arctic inspired by a photo by Scott.. One shot in studio. Single exposure on 5x4 transparency film I made the icescape and Simon Cauty made the submarine.The sky was on a back projection screen.
Emmerson Fitapaldi racing under the sponsorship of JPS. Agency Sharps. Acess to the car was so difficult we built a model and a slow moving track and I made a long exposure while the wheels and the track moved and the car stood still to keep the logo sharp
I built this enormous jigsaw from styrene and clay set on a glass table with gelled lights below it. I then set fire to it with lighter fuel several times and made an exposure for each on one sheet of film.
Simon cauty built this engine inside a dust bin and we set fire to it in the studio and used Co2 uner pressure for the internal fire extinguishers for a Kidde Graviner Ltd company report.
A great model bridge with a mass of tiny kight bulbs (pre LED)by Simon Cauty in front of a background painting by Annie Millar. I used varnish on a painted board with ever reducing brush texture towards the back to effect false perspective.
